Our client is a premium children fashion and apparel business who are looking to appoint a highly knowledgeable and experienced Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join their market leading, rapidly growing company.
Our client has grown 20% yoy in a highly competitive market, developed into 50 countries worldwide and supplies over 500 stockists of their unique and eco-friendly product.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts within the independent channel, varying from specialist boutiques to multiple retailers. You will also be tasked to identify new opportunities for business that are aligned with the company's growth aspirations.
The right candidate for this role will need to have proven experience of working in retail and/or field sales with a proven track record of working to achieving targets. Relevant fashion experience selling into retailers across the Midlands to the South East is vital in being successful in this role. Experience dealing with larger Key Accounts within the territory would also be highly beneficial.
