As Royal Caribbean look to ‘Win on the High Street’ over the next five years the new role of Head of Retail South has been created to manage and deliver the retail strategy. This includes owning the relationship with key independent retailers/consortia head offices and agreeing their commercials and indeed marketing activity. In addition to working closely with the SAM’s to execute and guide the strategy at store level for the major accounts TCCT and TUI.

The Head of Retail South will be responsible for the Head Office relationships with high street retailers including; Advantage Travel Centers, The Travel Network Group and Virgin Holidays as well as smaller businesses including Newell’s Travel, FlightCenter, Baldwin’s Travel, Miles Morgan Travel, Westway Travel and Premier Travel.

With a team of 4 geographically located Regional Sales Managers to manage in excess of 1000 retail outlets across the south of the UK the team will be tasked with step changing RCL’s visibility in major accounts such at TCCT, TUI, Virgin, Advantage and other consortia as well as being brand ambassadors for their geography. This team’s actions will form a critical piece of every major Retail account’s annual plan as they educate the trade on how best to promote and sell Royal Caribbean as we target both new to cruise and new to brand Customers.

To develop a fully integrated strategic sales and marketing annual field plan and implement targeted activity to deliver the Sales strategies be that specific to account or geography.

Responsible for delivering maximum return on investment across all accounts and drive cost efficiencies throughout the South Regional Sales Manager team.

Responsible for ensuring that the South Regional Sales Managers implement target call plans that will drive APD improvements.

Responsible for moving the dial on the levels of training engagement (Cruising for excellence participation scores) across the retail base.
