My client is one of the fastest growing businesses in the FMCG market, and as such they are on the lookout for an established and successful Managing Director to lead their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become the head of a fantastic team within an up and coming FMCG business, facilitating a transformation period to release the full potential of what is promised to be an outstanding company.


The Role:
As the successful MD you will have experience of growing a brand in the FMCG market, with a proven track record of success at the very top end of the commercial structure. You will be entrepreneurial, with experience across all aspects and channels of the market (Top 4, e-commerce, foodservice and retail). My client already has listings with several of the large retailers, so this is by no means a standing start. This is, however, a great chance to grow the business and lead it in the direction you best see fit. As the successful candidate, you will have existing relationships with key decision makers across the market, as well as experience and success of Revenue, Marketing, Operational and Commercial management. As a senior figure within the business, the MD will play a crucial role in the personal development of other employees, as well as defining the companies culture, leading the business to become a powerhouse within the FMCG market.

The Person:

  • Experienced within a senior management role
  • Successful track record within transformational periods
  • Ideally already lead an FMCG business through a period of growth
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Financially aware, with strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Passionate, charismatic and a self-starter!
