A rare and exciting opportunity to join a UK manufacturer of housewares/home accessories and gifts.  Responsible for managing and developing my clients well established, existing customer base of approximately 200 independent retail customers (cookshops, garden centres, gift stores, department stores, home accessory stores) and converting new business opportunities.  You will cover London, Kent, East Sussex, Essex and East Anglia.

The person:

We are looking for an experienced sales professional currently operating within the non food FMCG sectors – ideally housewares, home accessories or gift. Professionally you will currently be operating at area sales level. You will have developed polished skills in communication, presentation and negotiation as well as being highly IT literate. Equally important are the behaviours and attitude you bring to work. We are looking for a highly engaging team player with great people skills. Gregarious, enthusiastic and positive you should have a proven track record of success in an environment where building rapport with customers and colleagues is paramount.
