National Account Manager
Olympic Foods are a leading and fast growing manufacturer, with their head office based in Whiston, Merseyside. We are seeking a National Account Manager to join our company, who will look for new business within our industry but to also develop some existing accounts within our customer portfolio. The successful candidate will have to be extremely self motivated and driven to achieve not only their own personal targets but targets set out for the company as a whole.
The National Account Manager for this region will report directly in to the Commercial Manager. The candidate will have regular contact with Head Office regarding pricing and the business plan.
Olympic Foods is in an exciting phase of growth with heavy investment in our facilities over the past three years. This has allowed for growth within the business but we have further capacity that we are looking to fill by gaining new business. Olympic Foods supplies product to a variety of customers which include, Foodservice, Cash & Carry and Manufacturing. We have a wide range of products and are looking to expand our market share even further.
Key Responsibilities and Attributes Include:
- The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the FMCG sector and would already be working with some of the leading companies in the industry.
- Being self motivated and sales driven with the ambition to grow the business by bringing in new business opportunities and developing existing accounts.
- A clear ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Promote the Olympic Brand and report back your findings from the field to the office to improve the brand performance and increase/share knowledge with the Sales Team.
- Build your knowledge on the markets in which we trade in so you can offer our customers the best support in their decision making.
