Main purpose

  • The Field Sales Manager is accountable for the achievement of profitable growth sales targets in impulse stores by delivering the greatest in store execution.
  • Hiring, coaching, supervising, training and motivating own and outsourced sales team.

  • Accountabilities
  • Drives the impulse field sales force to deliver NR growth by achieving in store execution objectives.
  • Proactively inspects quality of in store execution by working together with field team in the market.
  • Positively impacts in the performance of the team individuals by making coaching top priority and implementing the development plans agreed with Sales Capabilities team.
  • Coordinates with the sales support functions, providing field insights to get the adequate field support tools.
  • Properly manages outsourced sales force and sets one single field sales agenda.
  • Builds solid relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Aligned with HR, recruits and assesses team members.
  • Define the principles to set targets and defines the key performance metrics.
  • Communicates in a structured way, both with field teams and HQ support functions.
  • Sets the monthly agenda for the field team and secures compliance.

  • Market coverage: 24,000 retail points of sale.
  • Directly manages 11 Regional Sales Managers and leads a team of 235 Sales Development Reps.

  • The candidate has to be a true leader, committed to win in the market with a field team in continuous improvement.
  • Be able to translate strategy (channels and portfolio) into challenging action plans.
  • Excellent influential skills to work in a matrix environment and to lead an outsourced sales force
  • Experience in managing field teams or large teams.
