Due to substantial growth a new role has now been created with a pioneer of its industry. The business is recognised as a leader within outdoor sport and has enjoyed rapid growth both in the UK and internationally over the last 5 years.

My client is now looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their Field Sales team to further support the rapid growth across the independent sector. With an open mind on industry background, this is a position that will suit any experienced field based sales professional with a strong passion and genuine interest in Outdoor Sport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through a substantial existing client base across the Midlands and Yorkshire. Working with high street independents and online based accounts covering outdoor, running, cycling and equine specialists.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced, high calibre candidate with a track record of maximising an existing customer base whilst still having the ability to prospect and win new business. You must be operating at Area Sales Manager level, looking for a new opportunity in an industry that you have a genuine interest in. You must be located in East Midlands or South Yorkshire to be considered for the role.

Experience within Outdoor Sport is highly desired but not necessary however, you must have a sound knowledge and understanding of working with customers in the independent retail sector. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to quickly build rapport and strong relationships with existing and new customers.
