Junior National Account Manager
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen with a rising FMCG Food Brand for a Junior National Account Manager to play a key role in supporting existing relationships with dedicated, Grocer accounts.
Our client is a fast-growing organisation, offering unique, sumptuous and irresistible bakery products.
The Junior National Account Manager will be responsible for providing effective and proactive support to National Account Managers looking after major Grocery retailers.
The successful candidate will be heavily involved in delivering category insight, interpreting data and reporting the best course of action to deliver timely, effective service in line with customer and company requirements. The successful candidate will monitor customer pipeline and ensure that the National Account Managers have all that is required for effective relationship management.
Due to the varied nature of the role, the Junior National Account Manager will be office based, with easy access to relevant stakeholders. Where there is a requirement, the successful candidate will have the confidence and the commercial acumen to deliver customer meetings on occasion.
This is a 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record of selling into Grocery Multiples
- Have Branded experience
- Be highly numerate with a strong commercial acumen
- Have a proven ability to interpret and analyse data
- Have ideally sold Food products
- Have a proven sales and account management background
- Be willing to be office based in Dorset with occasional travel
