What's in a story? Well, everything as far as Tims Dairy are concerned. Tims are hugely proud of their Greek heritage and over 65 years of experience in producing premium quality, fresh, live cultured products.
Founded in 1949, they continue to be a family run business with a love for making yogurt. The main ingredients of their business has not changed in all that time - they still show a total commitment to excellence, a desire to improve and overall passion for what they do. They began by making top quality yogurts for local delis, restaurants and bars and since that time Tims has grown steadily on their founding principles. Fat free and Greek style yogurt is in fantastic growth as consumers are becoming more aware of the health benefits and Tims have benefited from this with no signs of slowing!
Due to the businesses continued growth and strategic focus they have created a National Account Manager position which will take full ownership and drive the retail arm of the business with a particular focus on UK grocery retailers.
This role is pivotal in the success of Tims Dairy! The individual will lead the development and growth of the company in the retail sector which currently contributes to 25% of company turnover. You can currently find them in Waitrose, Ocado, Asda and Morrisons. The role requires strategic and skilful management of both branded (80%) and own label products (20%).
The National Account Manager will drive the expansion of the Tims brand from its current base, though regional distribution to national listings ensuring that volume, profit and market share targets are achieved at every stage. You will also;
- Have full P&L responsibility for all retail sales for both Tims and own label
- Identify growth opportunities in both current and potential retail accounts
- Be an enthusiastic and energetic brand ambassador for Tims Dairy
- Work closely with Marketing and NPD teams to ensure maximization of potential product launches and campaigns
This position will be a key member of the management team and will work closely with the Managing Director on strategic commercial decisions.
You will be a dynamic and motivated National Account Manager who is experienced in managing consumer FMCG food brands with the UK major multiples. You will bring knowledge and experience which will be critical to helping guide and the development of Tims Dairy in the retail market.
- A commercial background in sales within the FMCG industry and experience of working within the chilled food sector
- Success of growing challenger brands in the retail arena
- A solid understanding of how regional food and/or drinks businesses operate
- Experience of managing P&Ls with demonstrable success and growth
