National Account Manager

Job Description

Aegg packaging are recruiting a friendly, bright, dynamic National Account Manager to join their growing team!

About Us:

Aegg Creative Packaging is an entrepreneurial packaging business specialising in premium packaging. Our products are supplied to major food manufactures in the UK, and we are expanding into Europe. If you have dipped into a particularly tasty pudding at any major supermarket, you have probably come across our products. Due to rapid company expansion we are currently recruiting for an Account Manager.

Responsible for:

Ensuring the commercial success of a portfolio of UK based customers, through effective growth of sales and margin utilising new and existing product portfolios.

Accountabilities:

Management of customer portfolio to achieve or exceed budgetary targets.

Proactively seek new business opportunities, within existing and new products, by understanding customer strategic direction and NPD pipelines.

Management of all projects related to target accounts in line with the defined NPD process to meet demands of all stakeholders: Aegg, the food manufacturer, the retailer and the consumer.

Proactively arrange regular/diarised meetings with customer base.

Overcome customer barriers with a view to getting the customer to switch into Aegg packaging solutions.

Advising the customer base on forthcoming product developments and discussing individual special requirements.

Report on future buying trends back to the business.

Attend team/business meetings as required, sharing best practice with colleagues.

Professionally represent Aegg at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

Key skills:

High level of numeracy and literacy.

Minimum of 12 months previous experience in a sales / account management role ideally in a long leadtime sales process.

Effective time management skill with a flexible approach and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities always ensuring the customer feels they are No 1.

Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a non- corporate, fast moving, entrepreneurial team.

Excellent attention to detail, be able to follow defined procedures.

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Excellent IT skills will regularly use Word, Excel & Salesforce (experience of SF not mandatory, however will be helpful).

High level of negotiation skills.

Willingness to travel extensively across the UK visiting customers.

 Renumeration:

 £28,500 - £33,000
