Procurement and Supply Chain Manager | Food Manufacturing

Due to an exciting and sustained period of growth, this well respected and innovative food manufacturer is looking for a multi-skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager with a wide breadth of capabilities including buying. This business supplies other manufacturers along the supply chain, retail and food to go customers.

You will be ultimately responsible for managing and driving relationships with suppliers and maximising their potential as well as driving cost savings through close monitoring and relationship building.

You will also be sourcing new suppliers and establishing new relationships, actively pursuing in-depth market knowledge with fresh food, including New Product Development for bespoke products.

With an extensive understanding of Supply Chain, Buying and Purchasing/Procurement you will be a strong and diligent manager with a proven track record of successful negotiations, purchasing/procurement and cost savings within the food manufacturing or fresh produce sector.

The successful candidate will hold a CIPS qualification or a degree in supply chain management.
