Client Details
Established in the 1700's our client specialises in producing a variety of body, bath and beauty products to a range of large high street retailers and major brands.
Description
As the Business Development Manager, reporting in to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will be part of the contract manufacturing team and responsible for managing a variety of personal care and cosmetic ranges for a portfolio of major brands.
This is a fast paced environment, and you should be used to working towards deadlines, under pressure and have a commercial mind set.
You will ideally have contract manufacturing experience, preferably in the cosmetics industry although homewares, gifting, fashion, packaging or POP/POS would be highly beneficial too.
The Business Development Manager role will include travel, but is an office based position and you must be commutable to the East Midlands/East Anglia area.
Profile
Key skills and experience required:
- Contract manufacturing experience
- A passion and/or experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry would be beneficial
- Experienced within an FMCG or Consumer sales environment
- Commercially astute with the ability work under pressure towards deadlines
- Ability to work well as a team and also independently with a self-motivated attitude
- Driven, ambitious and passionate approach
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage expectations
- Commutable to the East Midlands/East Anglia area
- Full UK driving license
Job Offer
- Basic Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
