Commercial Strategy Manager
A global FMCG corporate with a portfolio of household brands is looking to recruit a Commercial Strategy Manager to design and deploy channel and customer wining commercial plans.
Responsibilities Commercial Strategy
- Define Channel strategy and channel plans, lead Net Revenue management plans in responsible categories and lead Price & promotional plan across channels
- Lead NPD launches commercial plans, set customer targets within category
- Review promotions to ensure they are delivering against customer needs and against internal profitability. Revise promotional strategy when needed and deploy new plans to the CDs
Customer Strategy
- Bringing customer strategy into commercial strategy and the voice of the customer into the business
- Ensure JBP alignment with CDs to ensure they are in line with winning commercial strategy
People development
- Develop and grow your direct report(s) and create a positive working environment
- Create a culture of learning, sharing, reward and recognition
- Lead your team and direct reports to be the best they can be
Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate will evidence accomplished Customer Management and Business Planning (S&OP) experience along with a proven ability to implement a Customer/Channel Business Plan and optimise promotional plans. Ideally will have worked successfully with shopper, category and commercial teams to drive a wider agenda and therefore will need the ability to motivate and energise cross functional teams.
