Our client is a market leading business making, marketing and selling some of the UK's best loved, household name brands. Due to a continued period of growth an exciting opportunity has arisen in the commercial team for a Commercial Manager for the grocery retail channel.

The grocery channel is one of the fastest growing and high profile channels in the business so this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career to make their mark! As Commercial Manager for the grocery channel you will work with both the commercial and sales teams to develop winning sales, promotion and distribution strategies in addition to supporting and challenging the brand team to deliver best in class execution.
  • Support the sales and marketing teams in the delivery of long term, sustainable growth.
  • Create a cross functional buy in for the overall commercial plan
  • Implement channel strategy and develop business plans
  • Develop and implement best in class pricing and terms delivering against ROI KPI's
  • Develop and manage promotional strategies for convenience customers, thinking about the long term outlook and delivering ROI
  • Create compelling customer brand selling stories to support the sales team


The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre, possessing broad commercial experience gained in an FMCG setting. Candidates from a marketing or trade marketing background with demonstrable commercial experience will also be of interest.
