An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Leisure Products manufacturer seeking a Business Development Executive to build retailer networks in the South of the UK!

Client Details

Our client is a leading manufacturer of leisure products based in the South West.

Description

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving long-term customer relationships with retailer networks across the South, developing new business opportunities from existing relationships and seeking out brand new wins.

This role is field-based, and will require the Business Development Executive to effectively manage their time and build customer journey plans. The successful candidate will negotiate contracts and close agreements to the best advantage involved, suggesting clear, timely, and relevant solutions for successful delivery of their on-going relationship.

The Business Development Executive will engage with key internal stakeholders, collaborating with Logistics and the wider Sales team to identify and maximize opportunities with the organisation.

The successful candidate will also forecast and track key account metrics, reporting back on account statistics.



Profile

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a proven track record of selling into retail networks
  • Have sold high-value consumer durables
  • Have a demonstrable track record in building effective customer relationships
  • Have proven customer journey mapping skills
  • Have demonstrable, effective time management skills
  • Be well-versed with reporting and delivering accurate forecasts
  • Be able to report in to the Bristol Head Office on a regular basis
