Support National Account Managers on top 3 Grocer or Digital channels with exciting products whereby you form an integral part of a small sales team. This role enables you to have autonomy to work cross discipline and support with key accounts.

The Retail Account Executive will report into the Channel Sales Manager and will:

  • Analyse market share, competitors and conduct competitor brand performance analysis

  • Generate weekly and monthly commercial performance data - volumes, sales, margins

  • Convert data into meaningful and insightful analysis to support decision making

  • Provide accurate forecasting and demand planning, liaising with relevant departments

  • Provide detailed analysis of product costs to the Commercial team to assist in identifying savings opportunities

  • Prepare sales documentation to include proposals, reports, competitor information, analysis

  • In conjunction with the Team analyse various sets of data (eg: macro-economic data, sales, products by sku) to provide trend reports and information

  • Liaise with the Demand Planner and Customer Services team to ensure orders are processed and prioritised accordingly

  • Develop excellent relationships with colleagues to create a first class customer service

  • Support the Sales Services team to deliver on process improvement for the Retailers

  • Have a clear understanding of country Sales Services objectives and account promotional activities and support the delivery of local Activation plans and business 'must do' activities

  • Liaise with cross functional teams to understand and deliver the evolving needs of Retailers for both in-store and eCommerce activation

  • Support the Sales team to deliver quality, accuracy and timeliness in forecasting for all activations, promotions and launches by customer


The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to work cross-functionally across a business, particularly with Sales and Marketing teams

  • Be ability to communicate effectively at all levels, verbally and in writing, including effective liaison with Customers

  • Possess working knowledge of MS Office & other relevant software - comfortable with learning new systems

  • Have a strong knowledge of MS Excel

  • Have strong level of numeracy, attention to detail and accuracy

  • Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills at all levels

  • Be confident and Self-Motivated

  • Be able to pick up new systems quickly

  • Be ability to present confidently

  • Be able to work autonomously
