About the Role:

You will be responsible for driving product line profitability through marketing initiatives and business strategies. You will be capable of ensuring business alignment and communication of issues related to core products for both internal and external parties - a consistent message and voice for the business is key. Supporting the strategic marketing objectives of the product line and overall company objectives. Maximizing the sales, profits, and associated benefits derived from the product line. You will investigate the viability of markets and products to help the business grow whilst ensuring sustainability.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Primary contact for marketing activities for Europe.

Liaise with Europe team and align with US Head Office Marketing team to ensure consistent marketing image of the business at tradeshows, meetings and conventions.

Provide support or resources to Europe Sales and Application team by developing marketing trends presentation, sales tools, concepts or demos. On some occasions to accompany the Sales Manager to the customer to present the information.

Work collaboratively with Global Marketing and Product Management team to facilitate strategies for potential new or modified products.

Execute business strategies in Europe including product positioning, promotion & advertising.

Working with the European Sales teams external market analysis programs (Euromonitor, Innova) to assess and identify new customers, products and market opportunities for the region.

Work locally with publishing houses to ensure the business obtains the best coverage for the brand and products in advertising and editorial coverage.

Integrate support and operational functions in Europe including sales, product applications, regulatory, customer service and relevant parties by building collaborative relationships.

Help the development of marketing and branding strategy for new (w/R&D) and existing products (Applications) and brands for core products in Europe.

Continually gather and assess information on pricing, product quality, applications and competitive activity from Europe Sales team to US team.

Sourcing of marketing materials in Europe for Global Marketing Team.

Manage the organization and preparation before, during and after exhibitions in Europe. Ensuring they stay within budget and deliver a consistent brand image and support sales growth in the region.

To fulfil the duties and responsibilities of the position in a fashion consistent with business values and corporate objectives.

To be aware of the company's Q.A. policy and objectives. To observe these policy provisions and fulfil in all respects the requirements of his/her job. Q.A. procedures as defined in the quality manual shall be strictly observed.

 

Education/Experience/Skills:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree (Business/marketing preferred)

Minimum of Intermediate level of experience in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.

Ability to quickly assimilate and become proficient with new databases and technology.

Good communication skills

Fluent oral and written English

 

Preferred:

Salesforce.com experience

Experience in B to B food industry.

Second European Language

 

Physical Demands:

About 20% overseas travel
