Senior Head of Brand/Category
We are excited to be working for a market leading FMCG supplier based in the East Midlands. They are looking for a product focused Senior Head of Brand/Head of Category to lead their team of Product Managers.
With 6 direct reports and reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a key role in managing the product range, working on new product development, researching new products working with consumer insight to drive your brand forwards and increase profitability.
This role is primarily focused on the 'what' and the 'why' of the products. Close working relationships will need to be forged with the Procurement and Sourcing teams to ensure the right range of products for their varied retail customers and consumers. The products and customers are at the heart of the business and ensuring that there is a strong category to grow the market share and bring new products to the marketplace is vital.
The range of SKU's is broad and as a consequence we are looking for someone with the attention to detail and commercial savvy to manage the efficacy of the product offering. Can you spot a winner? Can you be robust and accurate in your decision making to rationalise your range?
We are looking for passionate product people who have experience working in category/product management, managing pricing including annual price increases.
Are you confident collaborating with Buying and Commercial teams to build the story around the products?
We expect that right now you are demonstrating success managing a small team within product/category management.
