Sales/Export Account Manager – Branded Drinks
The business we are representing is a fast-paced, leading supplier of premium, alcoholic beverages. They can boast a large portfolio of well-renowned brands and work in partnership with a number of major suppliers in the industry. Our client are also branching out into new product categories and sourcing new brands to add to the portfolio. They have a global business model and export to a number of markets across the world. They have a track record of growing sales and remaining profitable since being formed in recent years. The company can offer an entrepreneurial, close-knit and inclusive culture.
As Sales/Export Account Manager you will report directly into the Managing Director with a view to further growing key international markets. You will inherit a number of existing international markets whilst also targeting new business in other regions. You will need to travel internationally on a monthly basis to visit your customers and maintain existing relationships. The role offers great autonomy and the chance to shape a sales strategy, overall budget and build the account base. It’s also a highly incentivised role with the opportunity to be rewarded well financially.
In order to be considered for the role you must have at least 2 years previous sales experience, ideally in the drinks industry. Candidates in food or other FMCG categories will be considered. You may currently be a Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager or Key Account Manager in drinks, selling into UK retailers and looking to progress into international sales. Whilst export experience isn't essential, it will be viewed favourably. This offers a unique opportunity to broaden your skills and experience in this customer channel. You must have a commercial approach to business and the ability to work well with other functions such as operations and supply chain. Cultural fit is very important for our client, you must have a great attitude, be tenacious and keen to progress with an up and coming business in a growing category.
