About Our Client

Ritter Sport UK Ltd is part of the c.€500 million Ritter Sport group who have a brand presence in over 100 counties world wide. Since launching the business in July 2015 they have quickly established an extensive customer base across all key channels, Nielsen numbers continue to go from strength to strength and the brands social media following is growing fast.

Current share of trade is relatively small but the business is growing fast, winning in an arena dominated by some of the biggest global FMCG companies with a fraction of their resources is very demanding but very rewarding. Exceptional candidates are needed to help deliver the long term vision for the UK.

Job Description

Working within the UK sales team reporting directly to the UK Head of Sales, devising and executing effective channel and customer business plans that deliver or exceed defined commercial targets. Effective utilisation of category and consumer data to achieve objectives, utilisation of fiscal and investment controls and reporting to ensure commercial delivery. Effective team work with the UK Brand Manager to optimise brand performance and with the UK Business Operations team to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

Positive, passionate, engaging, resilient, organised, results focused, with the required breadth of experience and network across key channels and customers, with a genuine passion for the brand who relishes a true hands on role in a fast paced start up environment. In addition to this we are looking to speak to candidates with the following attributes:

  • National Account Management experience selling a branded FMCG product into retailers (grocery, high-street, ecommerce would be of interest)
  • Team player - whilst Ritter is part of a huge global brand, in the UK they are still in their infancy therefore we need people prepared to "role their sleeves" up with all elements of the business
  • This role is home based with regular meetings in their HQ in Leeds (typically a minimum of 2 days a week) ideally candidates would be within a 90 min commute from the City Centre (Ritter have fantastic offices across from the train station)
  • All candidates will be degree educated
