Description



Business Development Executive
  • Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts.
  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
  • Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
  • Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
  • Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplishes marketing and organisation mission by completing related tasks and activities as needed.
  • Territory covering hertfordshire , cambridgeshire, bedfordshire, Norwich , Northampton and Suffolk.




Profile



Business Development Executive
  • Sales/product management experience
  • Knowledgeable in solution selling in technical markets
  • Degree a strong plus
  • This position requires travel to customer, key influence sites and hertfordshire Office as required




  • A background in the nutrition, health care, veterinary or pharmaceutical sectors will make this learning curve easier but is not essential. To be successful, you will need entrepreneurial spirit, drive and commitment - thriving on hard work, challenges and targets combined with a genuine interest in providing the customer with the best possible solution.
