Key Account Manager – Scotland (Premium Spirits)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Car + Pension

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual has arisen within a large international spirits business. The business has a fantastic portfolio of premium brands including an award winning range of luxury whiskies and a number of other products including premium rums and gins. They have incredibly strong presence in a number of the UK’s most prestigious customers and have recently been experiencing impressive growth. They are now looking to recruit a talented Key Account Manager to take ownership of strategic On-Trade groups in Scotland.
As Key Account Manager you have full P&L responsibility for a number of important accounts based in Scotland. These will include the likes of Caledonian Heritable, Signature Pubs and Alchemy Inns. Your aim will be to develop on the existing relationships and build true partnerships within these accounts whilst growing the range of brands that they stock. You will also strive to develop business with other key groups including G1 and Buzzworks. This role is all about strategic partnerships so implementing strong JBPS with appropriate marketing support will be crucial!
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have drinks industry experience working with key multiple-on trade groups in Scotland. Those who have contacts live contacts within these accounts will be at an advantage. Whilst knowledge of the premium spirits industry would be an advantage, candidates that have developed their career in the soft drinks, beer or wine categories will also be considered. It is important that you have strong commercial awareness and are comfortable working in a very hands-on style as relationship building is a core part of this position!
