National Account Manager – Grocery & Online - London

My client is a completely vegan, plant based health brand that offers time-poor shoppers convenient and healthy meals for home cooking. They are looking for an ambitious, National Account Manager to take on Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado and Amazon.

About the role

  • Managing the JBP, specifically the P&L and commercial deployment of the brand within; Morrison, Waitrose, Ocado and Amazon
  • Effective internal & external communication of performance, recommending specific actions where the business looks to both consolidate areas of strengths as well as rectify under-performance
  • Working with customer supply chain teams on collaborative forecasts for launch and promotions
  • Work cross functionally to maximise our sales including influencing range, distribution, availability, compliance.
  • Working with marketing to develop the strongest possible customer activation plans. Bringing the brand to life in store (POS, displays, samplings) through developing relationships with key customer contacts
  • Manage the third-party team to deliver excellent execution across the market and ensure we are making key decisions based on the data coming back in to the business
  • Support the Sales Director on the launch of the rest of the UK Market

About You

They're looking for someone who is driven, tenacious and clearly loves growing and developing in their sales career at pace. You'll be someone who is interested in wellbeing and health and connects with the brand’s mission

Grocery sales account management experience is essential. Ideally, you'll have gained your experience in an FMCG business specialising in health, food, or drink products. You'll be able to demonstrate impeccable sales account management, communication skills and really enjoy working with existing customers. You'll have experience and a passion for developing new routes to market and have some experience of direct sales with consumers.

You'll inspire others through your enthusiasm, ambition, and passion for the brand, and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You'll enjoy new challenges and aim high with a determination to deliver excellence and results. Agile, efficient and highly organised you'll be able to handle a multitude of projects, changing priorities and tasks, and be able to blend commercial acumen with creative solutions.
