Due to an expansion, and an acquisition of a large business within the Pet industry, one of Clear Edge’s top clients is now looking to bring in a highly versatile and experienced National Account Manager to join them and develop a new side to their business.

My client is now an unrivalled player in the Pet industry, and this new side of the company is already a well-established brand within the industry. With an extensive product portfolio and multiple well-known brands, the company now has room to grow and develop through the Grocery and Retail channels in order for them to succeed in line with their sales vision moving forward.

As National Account Manager you will be knowledgeable and experienced within the Pet industry, and will have account experience with the Grocery top 4 and pet retailers. The role will encompass traditional account management along with the development of new business, and you will be reporting directly into the Commercial Director.

The ideal candidate:

  • Pet industry experience
  • Previously managed accounts within the Grocery Top 4.
  • Dynamic personality
  • Knowledge of managing and growing an account base
  • Proven track record of new business development
  • Flexibility to work from home and head office
  • Ability to hit the ground running within a new business
  • Quick learner

This opportunity would be ideal for an established National Account Manager looking for a new challenge, with the ability to help this newly acquired brand to grow and develop in the market. Having a prior knowledge of the pet industry would only aid you in succeeding in this role. The ideal candidate would be located in or around Hertfordshire in order to be able to visit the office when necessary.
