National Account Manager - Grocery
Our client is a business that supplies the major retailers with a branded range and also develops successful retailer brands. Turnover is close to £700 million they have seen 10% growth in the last year – in this market that is something to shout about!
Unlike other businesses they are more versatile, focussed and ambitious. They understand the needs of their consumers and retailers and control all aspects of the supply chain to provide profitable solutions.
Due to this growth and internal promotions the team is expanding and we are looking for a Senior National Account Manager or National Account Manager, with development potential, to join their team. The primary focus will be to maintain and develop an existing multiple account to achieve and exceed profitability targets. You will be expected to contribute to strategic decisions and maintain category captaincy
They are looking for a consummate sales professional who has the ability to develop this top tier grocery account and they must have the ability to work on private label and brands. You will have worked with a grocery multiple.
Ideal candidates, of graduate calibre, will have had structured account management training from a recognised FMCG company, backed up with a personable and tenacious approach to selling. Self-motivated and ambitious individuals will find their commitment rewarded with career opportunities that are second to none.
