7 years ago we spotted the need to bring some much needed change to our category (one of the fastest growing areas of UK Grocery) and take on the major players at their own game, to date we’re Top 10 with huge aspirations to be Top 5 by the end of 2018 and still aiming high to be the No.1 in the next 5 years. We’ve built fantastic business relationships with the major Grocery Retailers including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco and an excellent distribution network across the UK and Europe.
We’re at a pivotal moment in the growth of our company, with a hugely exciting future ahead and plans to truly shake up the retail category with a full brand re-launch, outstanding NPD and a new consumer campaign planned throughout 2018 and onwards. Our marketing team are creating a truly world class brand and consequently we need a sales team to deliver that ambition. For the right person, this opportunity could be a career defining effort, shaping the company and long-term success of the business whilst revolutionizing a category.
We’re a small team based in South West London, but punching way above our weight in terms of skill, innovation and experience. The business is Founder led, with a great informal working environment but a steely resolve to deliver, team members are given wide autonomy to do what they do best.
Unfortunately, we have had inconsistent success over the years with Tesco and we are underperforming versus ambition. Our performance often dependent on the favour of the incumbent Buyer, regardless of the data presented. This ‘way of working’ needs to stop. We need to change the narrative, take ownership of our performance with Tesco Booker Group and explode our sales with this retailer. This is where you come in.
We need an experienced account manager to focus solely on delivering explosive sales growth within Tesco Booker. You will be tasked with owning all aspects of the Tesco Booker business, with full P&L responsibility as well as determine the strategy to achieve our ambition. Are there line management responsibilities? No. Is there a category team? No. What’s your budget? You tell us. Treat your Tesco Booker world like it’s your own business and you will be supported all the way to facilitate the growth you’re so hungry to achieve. Deliver results and you will determine what the future will be.
We need a Tesco account management expert, someone who can demonstrate the capabilities of driving business change and selling more within the Tesco operation. The basis of your expertise will come from a solid platform of training within a Blue Chip organisation but you’ve now seen the light and want to take that experience and Gold Standard account management ability to a disruptive, challenger brand.
