The Company

My Client is a global food business founded over 100 years ago employing over 30,000 in 20 countries.  You would be joining the young, fast growing Consumer Division, that is enjoying several consecutive years of double digit growth.  The UK is a central pillar of this growth having been highlighted as a key growth market by the wider business, enjoying significant investment with the team doubling in size in the last eighteen months

The Role – National Account Manager

With full responsibility to develop the key strategic channel of Mainstream Foodservice, you will need to harness the support of the European business to further develop the sales of flagship products

 

Role objectives and accountabilities

  • Develop existing sales and agree new listings across the mainstream foodservice market
  • With the support of marketing team, help to build the brand
  • Develop and manage relationships with key partners
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to develop the channel in future years
  • Support the development and launch of new products

Key skills and attributes

  • Passionate about food
  • Experienced National Account Manager
  • Good knowledge of the Mainstream Foodservice market in the UK
  • Understanding of the UK Foodservice market,
  • Appreciation of international cuisines
  • Strong commercial skills including P & L management
  • Creative thinker
  • Self-starter
  • Good communicator internally and externally
  • International outlook
