Senior Buyer - Frozen

Your new company
This world famous high street retailer is one of the most recognised brands in the food industry. Its head office is located in the North West of England. This company will give you the opportunity to make your mark in one of their highest profile product categories. Initially on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, there is likely to be internal opportunities available that could result in a permanent appointment.

Your new role
You're new buying role will give you the responsibility for a £100m+ budget where you can develop existing and exciting new product ranges in stores across the country. You will be working closely with the Category Leads in order to execute a market leading product range and increase profits. Not only this, but you will be working closely with both branded external suppliers as well as developing a cutting edge own label product offer. Whilst challenging and fast-paced, this role gives you the opportunity to be accountable for your own decisions and will allow you the freedom to innovate in order to maximise sales and develop new products. This role is available immediately and is on a 9-12 month basis, so applicants on a short lead times will be at an advantage..

What you'll need to succeed
Experience in food retail buying is needed for this role in order to be a success. You will have a passion for food, a willingness to win and strong negotiation skills. You'll enjoy the chance to work with our up to date systems, which will allow you to make the most of your your commercial and analytical skills.
