A brand new client of ours is now looking for a highly experienced National Sales Manager to join their thriving, growing business. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of premium bathroom products and operates predominantly through the UK wholesale and retail channels.

The business is a family owned, spanning over a century and prides itself on its innovation within the industry, and expands its presence over 6 countries worldwide with several of its own manufacturing sites.

The company is now looking to bring a very experienced and commercially astute National Sales Manager on board to manage the whole of the UK & Ireland, managing a team of 9 sales professionals throughout the territory. As this role will be managing a team, man-management experience is essential for all applicants for this position as well experience developing and motivating a field based sales team.

In terms of experience, the ideal candidate will come from the Bathroom industry and will have had experience managing some of the Big Sheds as well as National and Key accounts. You will need to be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. You will have the confidence to approach buyers and be willing to travel the country between 3 and 4 days a week.

Some points on the ideal candidate:

  • Man-Management experience is essential
  • Must have experience managing and developing the Big Sheds and/or large national accounts
  • Experience dealing with the wholesale channel
  • Confidence and experience in dealing with buyers
  • Bathroom/Sanitary industry experience
  • Passion and enthusiasm
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK
  • Fast learning potential

This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a National Sales Manager with excellent experience managing a team that wants to grow and develop within one of the world’s largest companies within the bathroom industry, who are going from strength to strength, year on year. As this is a home based position, location is not important but the ideal location for this role will have good access to the motorway networks in the middle band of the country.
