The Role: As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for a North East of England region, working from home and in the field making face to face sales calls. You will be selling this first class range of products through independently owned convenience and symbol group stores. You will be given a set of realistic sales targets and KPI's within a largely existing spending account base, whilst being rewarded financially for your results.
The Company: This business has been around for over a century, distributing ranges of branded American and traditional British confectionary for adults and children. Steady cumulative growth exists here, through innovative simple ordering mechanisms for retailers, added to an enormous diverse range of market leading branded products.
The Person: The ideal candidate for this role will be sales trained, with a grounding in FMCG, foodservice or general business to business sales. You'll be comfortable with diary planning, sales reporting and CRM management - It is imperative that you are outgoing, highly self-motivated and a natural relationship builder.
£22,000 - £23,000 basic salary
£5k - £7k bonus
Company car, laptop, smart phone, pension, 20 days holiday (plus 8 x Bank Holidays)
