Commercial Executive | Fresh Produce | Foodservice
Our client are market leaders within the fresh produce industry in the Lincolnshire area and they are looking to expand their team. Do you want to become a key member of the Commercial Account Management team tasked with building customer/s relationship and delivering growth? If so, then this could be the role for you.
About the Role:
You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and the Account Director working on your own set of accounts building up relationships with key contacts in the industry. You will work closely with the Development and Technical teams through the whole development process, from consumer insights, market analysis, blue sky, product development, customer submission, and delivery.
Success is delivering new lines on time, within budget, that grow the sales and profitability of the business and the customer.
You will attend regular commercial and business unit meetings to update on customer performance & development. Develop full understanding of market place and category performance to identify opportunities and threats.
Understanding all cost influences within the business from the price of raw material, internal overhead + labour, packaging and transport costs.
Understanding Health & Safety legislation, its implications to you, your colleagues and the company.
You will be fully supported but your Commercial Manager to achieve the results you need.
The Ideal Candidate:
Our client is looking for a hardworking individual who wants to progress within the fresh produce industry. A degree in the relevant field is desired but not essential.
This role would suit a recent graduate with 1 or 2 years food/fresh produce experience or good knowledge of the industry.
They will look at an agricultural background, foodservice background and a horticultural background.
