The opportunity available here, lets you manage a team of six Regional Managers within the London region for this international catering equipment manufacturer. As a business that has been comfortably at the top of the tree for some time now, the role seeks a passionately determined Head of Sales to continue this success. This is not the 'same old same old'...You've heard it all before, I'm sure - "market leader seeks driven top talent to join its wonderful team" - We're not so fluffy and predictable.

This position demands focus, and genuine strategy. You have to be a diplomat, politician, leader, motivator, innovator and carer. Yes, it's working for a very well-known and respected Catering Equipment brand, which has its benefits and attractive qualities. But we're not looking for Head of Sales that just wants the shiny badge of a great name. Despite the reputation, these products don't sell themselves. It takes hard work and careful management of the Dealer network and end-user requirements, to keep this brand on top.

That's the 'we need / you must' bit out of the way. So, what's in it for you? As a company that we have enjoyed supporting for years, we know the advantages and disadvantages of working here as the Head of Sales. Genuinely, there are many more positives than negatives, and they start with you and your team. The region is your baby. You will manage six Sales Managers and the complete distributor and dealer networks in order to maintain and expand on the previous successes. You are training and coaching the Regional Sales Managers. Brining direction and support requires a certain style and character. You will thrive and develop yourself due to the investment this company makes in its Head of Sales personnel.

Your understanding of the complete sales process and the commercial awareness of the hospitality market and contract catering industry will allow you to quickly gain momentum in this region. There are opportunities and new business openings all over the South East and your remit will see you bring these partnerships together.
