About Our Client:
Our client is a leading chilled and ambient food business with a large portfolio of customers including 3 of the top 4 food retailers and food service channel. They are an established business with a good reputation and are part of a larger group. With recent projects to secure long term business partnerships, this is an exciting time to join the company.
About The Role:
You will use your experience managing the big 4 food retailers to drive the business further. You will be comfortable analysing/presenting market and consumer data to identify areas where the business and the customers could grow their market share. You will be well connected with the retailers and have a proven track record of delivering commercial results.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be hungry to progress their career and will want to become a sales/commercial director in the future. This is a REAL POSSIBILITY within this organisation. You will be a hard worker who is dedicated to drive the business forward with a proven track record of delivering commercial results. Chilled / Fresh food experience is A MUST...while we appreciate there are many great ambient food businesses in the area this role and business works at a very fast pace given the short shelf life of their products. You will be articulate, very polished and presentable and have a good knowledge of the food industry.
Minimum Requirements:
Very simple really, to be considered for this role as a minimum you must:
Have chilled / fresh food experience.
Have a proven track record with the major food retailers.
Be brilliant and want to progress to director level.
Be a strong team player who is hardworking, articulate and polished.
Be able to commit to travelling to Corby 5 days a week with travel to customers when required.
Salary:
£55k - £65k DOE + package and excellent progression opportunities
