Account Manager | Fresh Produce & Horticulture | £DOE
We are working with a leading fresh produce and horticultural business to source an outstanding account manager to join their team in the Spalding area. This is an opportunity to work with some of the fastest growing accounts in the business with potential to get even bigger in the next few years.
This role will see you taking commercial control and responsibility for two accounts within the business. This will involve achieving certain category objectives in line with the business' own objectives, these will be based around volume and price whilst also conscious of a bottom line.
To achieve this, you will be in charge of creating detailed account plans for the customer, proactively managing relationships both internally & externally and conducting regular business and category reviews to drive performance. Managing all of these will see these accounts grow massively and you with them.
A Successful Candidate?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
Ideally a degree or equivalent qualification, a relevant degree in agri-food would be advantageous.
Experience in fresh produce or fmcg is necessary.
Experience of dealing with retailers, previous account management would be advantageous also.
Excellent Microsoft Office, communications and relationship building skills.
