Junior Category Manager / Category Executive (Retail Customers) – based West Midlands - £Highly Attractive + Package

Our client is an instantly recognisable global FMCG business based in the West Midlands; on their behalf we are now recruiting for a Junior Category Manager / Category Executive to join the consumer team.

Reporting directly to a Senior Category Manager this person will be responsible for assisting on the development of category strategy, implementing brand and customer category plans as well as adding value to brand planning and retail customer relationships.

To be successful in this role the candidate will :

• Already be operating in an Analytically based FMCG commercial position ideally in category but not necessarily
• Developing first class customer relationships through delivering expertise
• Proven success of building partnerships with customers & stakeholders
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work in high pressure environment
• Ideally some experience of IRI/AC Nielsen, Dunnhumby, Kantar, Retailer EPOS
