My client is a Leading UK, Manufacturer and designer of non-food consumer goods products within the homewares, gift and baby industries. Based in the North of England the business has been established for almost 75 years and employs a workforce of around 60 staff. The company has a strong UK presence and supplies to major UK retailers including Boots, Amazon, Argos, Mamas and Papas and Tesco, they also supply own label ranges. Due to continued success over the past few years a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager has arisen.

As Business Development Manager you will work closely with a number of established UK accounts, maintaining strong relationships along with the Sales Director and Account Manager. Your main responsibility however will be to research and bring on new accounts. This person will also have the potential opportunity to bring on new European business, to help the company further expand its presence.

To be considered for this position you must currently be in a Business Development role and be able to demonstrate success in winning new accounts and growing turnover. You must be hungry and energetic with a passion to succeed and develop your career. Ideally you will have experience of working with European retailers or distributors however this is not essential, an interest in developing sales in this area is most important.
