My client is a Leading UK, Manufacturer and designer of non-food consumer goods products within the homewares, gift and baby industries. Based in the North of England the business has been established for almost 75 years and employs a workforce of around 60 staff. The company has a strong UK presence and supplies to major UK retailers including Boots, Amazon, Argos, Mamas and Papas and Tesco, they also supply own label ranges. Due to continued success over the past few years a new opportunity for an Account Manager has arisen.
This is a newly created position to provide vital support to the Business Development Manager. As Account Manager you will be responsible for offering account management support to the Business Development Manager and Sales Director. You will work closely with leading UK retailers to ensure that strong relationships are maintained. This position will also be responsible for supporting with Export sales, researching the European markets to identify target businesses that the Business Development Manager can approach.
To be considered for this exciting, new position you must currently be in a Sales Support or Account Management role with exposure to some Key or National Accounts. This is a perfect position for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career as the business will offer support for you to progress. Ideally you will be from a non-food consumer goods business, specifically toy, nursery, housewares or gift, however other industries will be considered. You will have an enthusiastic and energetic personality, the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team is also essential.
