The Company:

My client, a manufacturer of specialist catering equipment is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover London and East Anglia. This would take in London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

With an established and innovative product range familiar to all in the commercial catering sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a true market leader.

The Candidate:

I am looking for applicants with a background in foodservice sales, where that be selling food or drink wholesale or non-food catering equipment or disposables.

If candidates have been a chef and moved into a sales role they would also be considered for the position.

The Role:

The role will involve advising, demonstrating and selling of these fantastic products. Customers would include catering dealers and distributors, Chefs, catering managers, buyers and owners. There is an established regional catering equipment dealer/distributer network to manage.

The role will be a mixture of working in tandem with the established dealer representatives, as well as working alone following up leads and generating new business with the end-users directly. 

Salary Package:

For the successful candidate my client is offering a competitive package. With a good basic salary, very achievable commission and bonus. Historically the sales team have all earnt in excess of 80% of their bonus. A company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, pension and healthcare is part of the package.
