Reporting to the Category Controller, this position offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to significantly influence our client’s future, as well as greatly enhancing your career development and broadening your sales and marketing experience.

Working with some of the key decision makers in the sales and marketing business on a daily basis, you will help our client realise its vision to become the most trusted and respected category advisors. To achieve this, you will use your experience to help deliver sustainable growth for its categories and brands within by building strong relationships with customers and demonstrating consistent thought leadership of those categories. This includes creating joint Category plans that deliver outperformance for our customers and meet the needs of their shoppers.

Your additional responsibilities include:

  • Leading range and category performance reviews
  • Working to develop continuous reporting solutions for all customers, including category scorecards
  • Developing objective space to sales recommendations and ensuring this is aligned to range review objectives and Category Vision growth opportunities
  • Production of planograms using Planomaster / JDA.

You must be a passionate and focused individual with excellent experience of driving performance forward, as well as a natural ability to engage and influence. You must also possess a proven analytical track record of turning insight into action, plus outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. An FMCG background building strong customer relationships is also a key requirement.
