Sales Manager UK & IRE | Fresh Produce & Fruit | £DOE
We are working with a well-established, well thought of and internationally reaching fresh produce business who are looking to add an excellent Sales Manager to their team. This position would see you taking responsibility for the strategy and execution of commercial plans across the UK and Ireland.
As a Regional Manager you would be involved with implementing the businesses plan at a customer level whilst also maintaining successful relationships with key clients. You would be responsible for a team of Account Managers and working with the Group Sales Manager to best identify long and short-term goals for the UK & Ireland markets, both quantitative and qualitative.
Whilst developing and implementing strategic plans you will be involved with the day-to-day management of the Sales team in the UK ensuring a good quality of service to key customers. Essentially involved with the long term commercial planning for the UK & Ireland business and involved in its implementation at the ground floor level, ensuring details are on budget and target.
The Successful Candidate?
To be successful in this role you would have the following:
Educated to a degree or equivalent level, if this is in food or agriculture that would be preferable.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the fresh produce, fresh fruit or fresh food industry.
Well organised, flexible and the ability to manage a team will absolutely keep you on the top of commercial plans and targets.
There will be a certain amount of travel with this role, any other European language spoken to a high level will be a distinct advantage.
