Buyer Support / Implant | Waitrose | Fresh Produce

This is a great opportunity to join a large fresh produce business who are looking for an Implant / Buyer Support to be based at Waitrose's Head Office. Waitrose are one of their key customers and as part of working together, this role is a shared resource which allows both companies to gain extra focus on some core areas for the businesses.

The Role:

You will be working alongside the Waitrose buying team and providing day-to-day support for a variety of functions.
In addition to this, you will be maintaining a close eye on the company's interest within Waitrose and helping them to find opportunities to improve their offering to Waitrose.
You will be ensuring that the various administration required for promotions and the day-to-day running of the category is all kept up to date.
This is a great opportunity to join the business and understand the inner workings of a retailer.

The Candidate:

An understanding of the fresh food and / or retailers would be a big advantage, but ultimately, they need someone who has good attention to detail, is confident and gets on well with people.
Good IT skills are essential as you will be working with a lot of spreadsheets and internal systems.
The need for strong verbal and written communication skills should go without saying!
