THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for management of a team of 5 Area sales managers selling to the foodservice sector, with a combined turnover of circa £15 Million.
This is an extremely ‘hands on’ opportunity with strategic area planning being combined with field sales visits alongside the team.
You will be responsible for an area revenue target made up of business with existing trading accounts alongside new business driven by yourself and the team.
Although most of the account base will consist of independent business within the catering trade there will also be responsible for strategic national accounts which are serviced regionally.
The account base will cover both cost and profit sectors and include education, heathcare, restaurants, hotels and gastro pub accounts.


THE APPLICANT.
• The successful candidate will be a proven sales professional with experience selling into the foodservice and catering sector.
• Candidates must have a proven track record of Field Sales Management.
• Candidates will have a coaching style and able to demonstrate leading a team.
• Applicants must be proficient at using Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets and able to analyse data
• Candidates must be effective team players with a structured approach to field sales.
