It is an exciting time for this growing company with their turnover doubling in 2 years and plans to quadruple this in 5 years. As a market leading cosmetics business, they distribute to over 80 countries, led from their head office in the UK. They mostly operate across the high street as well as online and in fashion retail, recently expanding to into Toys. As an innovative beauty company they are now looking to add to their dynamic and ambitious sales team.
As Key Account Manager it would be your role to assist in the management of sales accounts and commercial projects to ensure they are on target for growth. You would be responsible for retail accounts such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters and John Lewis, and online accounts including Amazon, ASOS and The Hut Group. Additionally you will also be focussing on the professional channel.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Pitching ideas to clients.
- Presenting sales strategy both internally and externally.
- Generating sales figures and reports to feed back to the business.
- Communicating with PR and Marketing teams to align strategy with accounts.
- Assist in mentoring and training new members of the sales team.
- Travel to attend trade shows and visit clients both in the UK and Internationally.
A successful candidate would either come from a beauty/cosmetics background or have a strong passion for the industry. Previous experience of working within a sales team is essential as well as the ability to communicate articulately with a variety of professionals. A confident, outgoing and ambitious personality would fit in well with the company’s ‘work hard, play hard’ sociable culture.
