A great opportunity for a Buyer to gain genuine career progression with a market leading food manufacturing business.

My client are a leading, multi-site FMCG business with a reputation for quality and innovation. They reward and look after employees well and offer outstanding long-term opportunities for progression.

They are now looking for an experience Buyer to take the next step up to a Senior Buying role. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for buying a variety of products at Group level across this leading food manufacturing business.

As a Senior Buyer you will work closely with senior level stakeholders and suppliers to understand the needs of the business' customers, looking at areas of Continuous Improvement and play an integral part of the NPD process.

Youwill need to have previous buying experience gained within the food or FMCG sector and ideally be CIPS qualified, or working towards it. Personality is key within the business and you will need to be self-motivated, be great at building long-term relationships and be a real ambassador of procurement within the business.
