Key Account Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and confident Key Account Manager, to manage existing key accounts and help to develop new business in both the UK and abroad.
Your role will involve working directly with the Business Development Manager and the Directors, providing a key point of contact for our customers by liaising with them and meeting with them on a regular basis, and following up on any action points from meetings to sustain and achieve growth.
Excellent, cross functional communication skills are therefore vital, as you will also be liaising with different departments internally to, for example, ensure all stock is ordered as necessary for your customers or orders are leaving on time to meet delivery requirements.
You will also work with the ecommerce team to identify and action new opportunities with the website functions of your customers, as well as their store portfolios. You must be analytical and be confident with everyday use of Microsoft Excel.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of at least 2 years of managing retail accounts, and experience of being customer facing. Ideally this experience would be within the toy and nursery industry however this is not essential.
The role will be based between our two offices, M22 and OL14. Regular travel will be necessary both domestically and internationally to visit new and existing customers so you must be flexible.
