Our client is one of the most exciting importers and wholesalers in the wine industry. They have one of the most enviable portfolios of producers and strive for excellence and producing value at every level. Having grown consistently over the last 20 years the company is always evolving and growing to become a leading supplier of fantastic wines and is just as prominent in regional pub groups as Michelin star restaurants.
They are currently adding a Brand Manager to their team working on wines from Spain and Portugal and growing these brands in the luxury, independent and specialist retail sectors and also increasing distribution points in the Off-Trade. Focusing on ATL marketing and working closely with Sommelier’s, F&B Directors and trade relations will be a key focus of this position. The ability to build relationships with the agency owners and create strategic plans for the brands will be vital for this role.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Working closely with sales team to drive volume
- Implementing key strategies for the brand to increase distribution
- Developing incremental sales through media strategies
- Creating a budget that aligns with the wishes of the agency
- Manage ATL activity across the brands
- Implementing the core values of the agency owners
- Managing brand allocations
In order to be considered for this position, you will have experience working in Brand Management or Marketing in the wine industry and preferably have WSET qualifications. A knowledge of Port and Sherry would be extremely advantageous for this position.
