Your new company
A leading and successful Fashion Retailer are currently seeking a Space Planner to join their Merchandising team. This company boasts a modern open plan head office where you will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues who are passionate about their place of work.


Your new role
Within this exciting and challenging role, you will ensure that each store has the correct space and range assortment to ensure their valued customers have an outstanding shopping experience. You will create, analyse and communicate data to make recommendations on range and category and be key in providing the design team with relevant and optimised options for each store, which will drive sales and profit targets. You will work closely with the Buying and Marketing teams to maximise the potential of the current product ranges, and play a key role in making recommendations to influence product selection and range development. You will also be involved with design meetings and gain direction for upcoming briefs and projects and assist in developing new reports and presenting ideas to the Merchandising team. You will develop strategies to maximise sales and explore ideas to analyse performance and be involved with visits and understating space and trade in a retail environment.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a good understand of space planning and will also acquire strong numerical and analytical skills. You must have an understanding of excel and be able to use and navigate excel formulas. Additionally you will be focused and hard work with a strong work ethic.
