The Role

My client is looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join their leading FMCG company. You will be tasked with driving the growth of a variety of products, carrying out the following key responsibilities:
  • Developing strong relationships with new and existing customers at all levels
  • Identifying and making the most of new opportunities to expand the business and create growth in new areas
  • Proactively building relationships internally and externally to drive growth
  • Working closely with other departments such as NPD and marketing to maximise opportunities to develop products
  • Liaising with buyers to initiate listings

The Person
  • The candidate must have proven experience within FMCG sales, ideally as a National Account Manager or Business Development Manager
  • Someone who has demonstrated success in building new relationships with customers, as well as developing existing relationships to create growth
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, analytical, with an ability to build strong relationships and network within the retailer to unlock better relationships across the business
  • A strong influencer, with previous experience developing and implementing JBPs
  • Previous P&L management
  • Ideally degree educated
  • Energetic and with strong interpersonal skills
