Our client has been around for over 150 years they have been at the front line of their business and specialise in contact lenses. They are currently the most successful they have ever been and are already looking to expand and grow their business with a turnover of over 5 Billion Euros and with over 25,000 employees. They offer a range of different lenses to ensure they are suitable for each individual from normal day to day lenses to sporting lenses. They work alongside companies such as Sony and Nokia as well as being recognised for the excellent work by winning a noble prize award.



Description



The purpose of this job will be to deliver the sales growth across a defined territory as well to deliver sales training, education, sales and marketing support to a major UK optics retailer within a defined territory. You will be reporting into the Key Account Manager and will have the opportunity to progress and grow with the company to become an Account Manager.



Other responsibilities will include:





  • Responsibility for the planning, sales development and business support to selected number of retail stores in territory




  • To deliver agreed training program across key target stores in territory across a wide audience including Optoms, DO's, Optical Consultants and develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders




  • To liaise and communicate with key internal bodies including Marketing/Sales and customer service




  • At all times maintain and uphold values in all dealings with customers and colleagues






Profile



The Successful Applicant must have;

  • Proven academics: Degree qualified or equivalent e.g. FBDO




  • Proven track record of success and ROI in terms of sales and revenue generation




  • Optical dispensing experience




  • Optical retail sales experience




  • Demonstrable optical training experience




  • Live within the Northern Home Counties










Job Offer



£28,000 - £32,000 Basic Salary plus £20,000 Bonus + Fantastic Opportunities
