One of Britain's best loved brands is looking for a shopper marketing manager to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be part of small shopper team that helps integrate a range of shopper marketing activity with the overall marketing plan.

The role

One of Britain's best loved brands is looking for a shopper marketing manager to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be part of small shopper team that helps integrate a range of shopper marketing activity with the overall marketing plan.

The organisation has a large and disparate marketing team and this role will require someone with a level of engagement that will allow them to get the best out of shopper plans. There are multiple marketing plans and the successful individual will provide key input using insight and data to help deliver successful shopper journeys.

This is an end to end shopper marketing role and will use insight and analysis to create shopper plans, taking it all to implementation within the supermarkets and providing the analysis on the back end for future campaigns.

You will be managing the main agencies and be the go to person for liaison with the agency. This role will also cover multiple projects and all of the major channels so you should be able to hit the ground running.

The role is based in Yorkshire but the client is open to some level of flexible working, but they do need someone who can start asap.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:
  • Strong shopper marketing experience from within a large food or drink business
  • An understanding of the full shopper journey and how that fits into overall marketing plans
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work diplomatically with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Some agency management experience is essential
  • A strong marketing background and a good grounding in marketing principles
  • An ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A creative mindset alongside an analytical framework
